STUDENTS
School visits are a very important parts of my work. I enjoy helping young people understand the workings of the EU and debating current issues. European studies are part of the school curriculum and there are many ways that students can get involved. History

Erasmus
Erasmus is the EU's flagship education and training programme, enabling two hundred thousand students to study and work abroad each year, as well as supporting co-operation actions between higher education institutions across Europe.
Over one million students have taken part on the Erasmus programme since its foundation back in 1987. The programme affords opportunities to many students to live and study in other European countries, helping them broaden their horizons and improve their language skills.
