BIOGRAPHY
Brian Crowley has topped the poll in Munster in every election he has contested.
In the European Elections (South), he topped the poll in 1994, 1999, 2004 and 2009. Such consistency makes him one of the most successful public representatives in Irish electoral history.
In the most recent election in June 2009, despite the swing against his party, he received 118,258 first preference votes making him, once again, the biggest vote getter in Ireland.
